Description: The Netherlands is working on a sustainable future. With fewer CO2 emissions and less natural gas. That is why Gasunie and Port Authority will create WarmtinQ together. Warmtelinq is an underground line with which residual heat from the port of Rotterdam can be used to heat houses and companies in South Holland. Hottelinq is a main transport line for hot water. With that water, houses and companies in South Holland can be sustainably heated in the long term.
Flash barrels are needed in the system as a daycare for drain water and steam and for flashing and cooling drain water before the drain water can be discharged to the sewer. Flash barrels are required in any heat transfer station (WOS) and pumping station and are part of the drain and vent system of a drive. The volume is determined on the basis of the volume to be drained for one pump and / or heat exchanger street.
