- The municipality of Helmond wants the beckoning prospect of "self-driving (public transport) transport in Helmond" to become realistic as soon as possible. To this end, various issues must be answered appropriately in the coming years and various barriers (including support) must be reduced.
By starting a field labHelmond wants to speed up innovation on the BZOB site. It is important here that the field lab works as a catalyst for innovation a broad set of partners will also be needed to shape the innovation in partnership. The second objective is that the transport service to be purchasedat the same time offers social value to an area with poor public transport.
Helmond expects to publish the tender at the end of August. Entrepreneurs can register in different capacities (in combination, etc.). An information meeting will be held on 11 July and interested parties can register for itreport (hybrid organized).
