- Description: The College of Alphen aan den Rijn wishes to give the exploitation of the theater in the hands of a market party. With this, the municipality wishes: - to maintain the supply of professional theater performances for the residents of the municipality of Alphen aan den Rijn and the region and at the same time lower the operating risk for the municipality; - to give the theater more face through a clear profile in programming to be realized; - preserving cooperation with cultural and social partners and to strengthen, where possible; - to give the theater building and direct environment more radiation by realizing more activities (for example between 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.); - to strengthen the role and function of the theater by the square together with the other established entrepreneurs and partners from the field to shape the programming of the square.
