- The Contracting Authority is looking for a Contractor who can provide a CNC lathe.
Various CNC controlled machines are already being used within the Research Instrument Making Industry. The purchase of this CNC lathe is necessary to replace a Teach-In CNC latheibank and because this CNC lathe offers new possibilities. With the arrival of the CNC machine, the Research instrument maker wants to achieve the following at a minimum:
- Manufacture more complex products
- Increase repeatability
- Perform serial work more efficiently
- Reduce time with regard toadjustment and clamping times
- Shorten project lead times
- Better machining of hard materials (stainless steel, titanium, etc.)
