- Municipal ICT systems are extensive and complex due to legacy applications. RID has many legacy applications locally that are managed by RID, combined with cloud SaaS applications. The cloud migration tender includes the following topics: • Dismantling your own primary server rooms; • Outsourcing of the lower technical layers up to and including the hypervisor layer in the form of a private cloud • Situational (depending on service requirements or vulnerable situations) o Outsourcing of the Oracle and/or SQL database management to achieve a situation where the service provision is visible developed from an obligation of efforts (doing it yourself) to an obligation of results (through hiring or managed service). o Possible outsourcing of network management. Both within the cloud environment and the locations of the participants. In line with this, the RID wants to expand in the future to: • Outsourcing of technical application management and application packaging work.
