The HHS must comply with the health and safety law on safety and well -being of students, employees and visitors (guests) and must ensure that sufficient protection is offered against the effects of calamities. For this, the HHS has set up its own BHV organization. The starting point isThat each location has its own BHV team that consists of team leaders, emergency responseers and evacuators supplemented with all employees who have a supporting task in guiding students and visitors. The size of the teams varies, this is highly dependent on the size of the buildings andThe number of students and employees at the relevant location. In total it concerns approximately 110 BHV people, of which about 20 team leaders. The aim is to grow into a total of 200 employees with a BHV role.
