- European public tender for mowing roadsides and waterways in Gorinchem. The reason for this tender procedure concerns the expiry of the current Agreement for the mowing work on roadsides and waterways in Gorinchem. The there is a need for this service. That is why the Rivierenland Water Board and the Municipality of Gorinchem intend to conclude a new Agreement through this tender procedure. This new specification is being put out to tender with the aim of creating a new one contractor to carry out the work described in the specifications. Green maintenance generally consists of: Mowing roadsides and embankments and nature reserves; Mowing nature-friendly banks; Mow around trees; Mowing the lawn of the ramparts; Mowing beards and viewing angles; Mowing out the wet profile of waterways and ponds; Disposal of clippings; Applying traffic measures; Apply protective measures for flora and fauna. Duration of agreement The permanent The duration of the assignment is from April 3, 2026 to December 31, 2026. The contract has an extension option of 3 times 1 year. The final contract duration could therefore be 3 years and 9 months. Rivierenland Water Board is the secretary for this tender.
