Description: Amsterdamumc, Location Amcin June 2018 are AMC and VUMC (two university medical centers) in Amsterdam managing administratively and since then under the name Amsterdam UMC. In total, around 18,000 employees work in the Amsterdam UMC. The Amsterdam UMC is now one of the seven UMCs in the Netherlands and is calculated in the field of academic medicine to the international top. As a university medical center, the Amsterdam UMC has three main tasks. The treatment of patients is paramount. In addition, a lot of medical scientific research is carried out in the Amsterdam UMC.
