- Nature reserve Lampenbroek is located under the village of Klarenbeek. The area is within the Gelders Natuurnetwerk (GNN); A part has the status Natura2000. Three streams flow through the area: the Lost Beek, De Loenense Beek and the Voorsterbeek. Nature in Lampenbroek has dried up and must be restored. If this recovery is not forthcoming, the diversity in plants and animals decreases further. Only in the core of Lampenbroek can rare orchid species still maintain themselves. The Water Board and Natuurmonumenten set up the nature reserve differently than it is. In the purchased agricultural plots, for example, the nutrient -rich upper layer is dug and the inserting ditches are filled in. The lost stream and the Loenense Beek get a slightly swinging route and stream guiding planting is applied along the lost stream. Forest is planted on the west side of the Loenense Beek. A new automated weir with fish passage is also being installed.
