- Due to the evolution of the European emission legislation, which in the last year has focused on renewable energy production, and considering that current research priorities are on hydrogen generation by water (steam) electrolysis as well as on technical issues related to the harmonisation of testing procedures for hydrogen powered systems , the JRC-s has decided to phase out the facility dedicated to the testing of hydrogen production by natural gas steam reforming method.
