Description: Because there are differences in financial statement reporting and the subsidy regulation, it is not completely possible to insight into the spending space from the automatically generated project reports within TU Delft. This created the necessary need for developing a calculation tool for the research projects in which the various financial rules of subsidy providers come together. This tool is unique within the University Finance landscape that resulted in external expertise. Because it mainly concerned a development trajectory in the start, the need was the need to work out the project. In the last two years, a data analytical transformation within the Finance function of TU Delft has started in close collaboration between TU Delft and the current supplier. The desired calculation tool has been developed to automate subsidy applications and to facilitate project managers with insights so that they can easily manage.
