Description: The primary flood defense t.p.v. The Rijnkade is (cadastral) owned by the municipality of Arnhem. After the realization of the dyke reinforcement, the ownership will transfer to the Rijn and IJssel Water Board. The management of the primary flood defense as a legal task is a responsibility of the water board. All maintenance and management tasks on those parts of the quay associated with guaranteeing water safety are carried out by the water board. For the boundary of the primary flood defense, the Legger Water Defenses of the Water Board is the basis.
The municipality of Arnhem manages the construction facilities, roads, public lighting and design of the public space on the Rijnkade.
