The modular joint scheme (MGR) Rijk van Nijmegen is a regional partnership between seven municipalities: Beuningen, Druten, Berg & Dal, Heumen, Mook en Middelaar, Nijmegen, and Wijchen. One of the modules of the MGR is WerkBebedrijf. The Work departments of the seven municipalities and SWbedrijf Breed are integrated in WerkBebedrijf. WerkBebedrijf implements the Participation Act and the Social Employment Act (WSW) for municipalities and directs labor-related daytime activities. When implementing the Participation Act, the aim is to guide as many people as possible with social assistance benefits into suitable paid work.
