- The agreement consists of the design and realization of the newly built publicly accessible swimming pool in the municipality of Deurne. Due to the complexity of the project, a conscious choice was made for an integrated contract, in this case a Design and Build agreement (hereinafter: D&B agreement) based on the UAV-GC 2025. The Uniform Administrative Conditions for integrated contract forms 2005 (UAV-GC 2025) apply to the contract to be awarded. For this assignment, based on the current program of requirements (hereinafter: SoR), a provisional target budget has been established of € 13,325,000 excluding VAT. See also section 2.5 of the selection guideline. With a D&B agreement there is a combined assignment because of design and implementation are included in one assignment. By introducing implementation knowledge in the design phase, the aim is to achieve better integration of the program of requirements, design and implementation. The municipality wants an efficient construction design to achieve. In addition to better coordination between design and realization, this approach ensures a lower chance of error because there is no transfer from the designing party to the implementing party. By possibly subdividing the contract into lots the aforementioned benefits are negated. For this reason, the contract is not divided into lots.
