- The municipality of Schiedam is preparing a European public tender for the aim of concluding a new electricity delivery agreement from 1 July 2025. The assignment includes the delivery of electricity to the municipality of Schiedam and two affiliated parties: the Stedelijk Museum Schiedam andSports company Schiedam B.V. The tender aims to guarantee the security of supply of electricity, control price fluctuations and to conclude a contract that fits within the sustainability ambitions of the municipality. Purchasing is expected to be a volume of approximately 9 GWh perYears, spread over about 375 connections for municipal buildings, public lighting, bridges and pumping stations.
