- The municipality of Amstelveen writes out the present European tender for concluding agreements for delivering trucks including repair and maintenance contracts. The trucks are used for waste collection via underground containers and mini containers, the collection of bulky waste at home and cleaning and maintenance of sewerage. The municipality of Amstelveen attaches great importance to sustainability and safety. This replacement must therefore also be taken into account and it was decided to spend a mix of HVO/Diesel and 100% electric trucks. In the field of safety, people strive for the latest standards. In this way the municipality wants to set a good example to its residents. The purpose of the tender is to select one supplier for each parcel that can deliver the truck (s) desired by the municipality of Amstelveen under the set conditions and conditions.
