Water is vital. We need it as drinking water, for arable farming, in livestock farming and in industry. In the Netherlands there is usually enough water, but it is often unevenly distributed and polluted. That is why water management is necessary. Where there is too much water, the water boards drain it. Where too little is, they argue. They regulate the discharge of polluted water with permits. They purify the sewage water and maintain the flood defenses. The management area of the Drents Overijsselse Delta Water Board (hereinafter referred to as WDO Delta) covers the southwestern part of Drenthe and the western part of OvIJssel. With a management area of 275,500 hectares, WDO Delta is the second largest water board in the Netherlands. Purpose of the tender With this European tender, WDODelta wishes to select one party that will develop data services and information products based on collected data.n data from sensors on the maintenance machines of the Drents Overijsselse Delta Water Board. These data services and information products are part of the "Smart Tap" concept.
