Description:
According to SURF and its members, the future of ICT and associated services for education and research lies largely in the cloud. The members (institutions) therefore want to be able to use the cloud flexibly and combine it with their own ICT infrastructures (hybrid infrastructure).cture).
Transition to the cloud is not an easy step in practice, and many institutions have gained little experience with it. Unexpected challenges may therefore arise during the implementation of cloud projects as well as in the management phase afterwards. The initially intended benefits are:If this is not achieved, there may be a risk of failure or capital destruction.
To support institutions with these challenges, it is therefore desirable to make SURFcumulus Professional Services available to them through a SURF tender. SURF chooses to do this via a DASexpired. The delivery of SURFcumulus Professional Services is expressly linked to the SURFcumulus service.
In concrete terms, this concerns executive, common services intended for cloud implementation, migration and management. Delivery is based on a fixed price and fixed delivery date.
