Description: This is a European public procurement of the Maastricht University Hospital. The tender concerns the delivery of a cytostatic management system. To this end, the AZM wishes to conclude an agreement with one supplier for the duration of 4 years plus 2 times 1 optional year (4 + 1 + 1).
Reason for the assignment
Current process is not compliant (T.A.v. requirement electronic prescription medication), in addition to error-prone (patient risk) and inefficient. The work now mainly takes place manually.
Purpose of the assignment
Implemented closed-loop system that specifies cytostatics digitally (comply with legal obligation) and the entire process is improved with the result (1) improved patient safety due to less error sensitivity and more reliable information, (2) improved quality of treatment by increasing reliability, speed and Completeness of information and (3) reduction of waste and redundancy in the process.
