Tenders are invited for Cyprus Awareness Raising and Education Study (Cares) - Expro Plus The objectives of the activity are: i.To raise awareness about space science in the general publicii.To raise awareness about space technologies and their practical application with regard to the daily lives of people in Cyprus to the general public and government.iii.To increase young people's motivation to choose space related education and industry as a career.iv.To raise awareness regarding the possibilities and uses of space downstream applications particularly in government (e.g. land use, planning, monitoring) and Industry (e.g. agriculture, tourism, shipping)To this end, the activity is expected to us a variety of different media and outreach methods, to best suit each objective, and both develop new content and re-use existing content. In addition to the objectives listed above, the activity will also provide a continuous service to DEC by providing recommendations to the content of the space section of DEC's website covering all locally relevant recent Cypriot, European and world-wide space-related news updates and event information together with key web links (e.g. to ESA sites).Read more
