Description:
The Gemini building houses the faculties of Mechanical Engineering (ME) and Biomedical Engineering (BmE). The Gemini Building was designed in the 1960s and 1970s and completed in 1974. The current status of the building, the outdated technical installations, facade and other architectural stThis makes major maintenance and renovation necessary. The building will be stripped and fitted with new facades, installation kit and installations.
The Client has commissioned an interior architect (Ex Interiors) to create an interior design including room layouts.This design forms the basis for the present tender.
The assignment concerns the development of the design and the production, delivery and installation of the custom-made furniture for the design of the Gemini Noord building.
This tender has the following objectives:
By means of this tendereding, the TU/e wants to create an inviting and pleasant education, accommodation, study and working environment.
Furthermore, the work must be carried out at the right price-quality ratio.
The TU/e wants to be offered a customized concept that is as sustainable as possible.
And the contracted partymust be able to carry out the work according to planning and in proper collaboration with TU/e, interior architect and contractor.
