Description: The Oudenhoorn pumping station is located in Oudenhoorn and dates from 1970. The pumping station consists of a pumping area in Binnendijks, a pressure line through the dyke body with outflow construction outside the dykes in the Haringvliet. The pumping station serves for the bemalse of the polder Oudenhoorn and has a capacity of 90 m3 / min (drain standard 1.5 l / s / ha).
The pumping station is now running, O.A. Due to the sound, vibration and odor nuisance from the old diesel engine in the area. The diesel engine is strongly outdated, end lifespan and must be replaced.
In the preferred decision, 3 variants are worked out and weighed, with variant 3, new construction of pumping station, dike crossing and outflow when the preferred variant is selected
