- The purpose of this tendering procedure is to establish an agreement with one contractor who, commissioned by the municipality of Pijnacker-Nootdorp, is responsible for:
Realizing and delivering a Darkfiber connection between the municipal data center in Pijnacker and the Datacentrum from SmartDC in Rotterdam;
The Darkfiber is used to keep the data sets in both data centers continuously synchronized;
Realizing and delivering a managed internet connection at both locations, with an initial capacity of 2 Gbit/s per location and the possibility of future capacity expansion;
The internet connection must offer the client a high availability and quality of internet access;
The design of the infrastructure in such a way that the internet connections function together as a "fail over" path when the disappearance of the Darkfiber connection.
