• The city of The Hague is growing. More and more people are coming to The Hague to live, work and enjoy themselves. This means that more people are moving and the city is becoming increasingly busy. The Hague is already the most densely populated city in the Netherlands. To To keep the city accessible, liveable and traffic safe in the future, the municipality, the Rotterdam The Hague Metropolitan Region (MRDH) and HTM Passenger Transport (HTM) are investing in new, accessible and more sustainable trams and the infrastructure for these trams and the surrounding public space has been adapted. For this purpose, the multi-year Influx New Tram Hague Region Program (INTHR) has been started in a collaboration between MRDH, HTM and the municipality of The Hague. The clientship within the program is on behalf of the three parties, with the Municipality of The Hague acting as secretary for the Tender Procedure, contracting and the realization, in collaboration with the market, of the assignment. HTM acts as rail technical engineer for the present sub-projects transport advisor to the municipality on behalf of MRDH. In the coming years, the INTHR program will include the renewal of the infrastructure of current tram lines 6 and 12, as well as the rail infrastructure projects Eisenhowerlaan and Guldenlaan. In these projects, the tracks and tram platforms must be adapted for the influx of new tram equipment. Where the track is replaced, it is simultaneously examined whether traffic and cycling safety...
