- Hygienic Housing Supervision based on the Housing Act and the Building Decree has been placed by the Municipality of Amsterdam with the Permits, Supervision and Enforcement Department of the city districts. If violations of use are found, the municipality imposes an administrative enforcement order or applies urgent requirementsnth administrative coercion. The GGD-Amsterdam uses the services of a specialized cleaning company for:
- Carrying out cleaning work for homes, vessels and yards.
- Clearing polluted homes, vessels and yards and removing and depositing all wastee unusable goods and waste.
- Cleaning the house, vessel or yard after a body has been found.
- Disposal of perishable food after closing the home, vessel, business and yard on behalf of the Mayor.
