• Description:
• The Ketendorbraak project "Reuse in the furniture sector" focuses on the circularity of furniture for the consumer market. To achieve this, The Reuse Alliance was founded in 2022. In this alliance, different types of stakeholders work together: large companies (including IKEA, Marktplaats and POS), sustainable change farmers, thrift stores, repairers, second -hand platforms and the government. The alliance has the main objective to have extended the lifespan of furniture in 2030, so that less furniture is thrown away every year. They want to achieve this in a multi -year collaboration along five action lines. This project requires a chain control team that can create the correct conditions so that we can realize this chain of reuse. The chain director hereby identifies joint system barriers and ensures that they are resolved by the right parties. The start of the tender is planned for October 2024.
