Description:
Description : TenneT, as the offshore grid operator in the Dutch part of the North Sea, will be responsible for the design, fabrication, installation and operation of the grid connections which will transport the generated power to shore. For such grid connections, TenneT has developed two standard platforms up to the level of basic design; a 700 MW AC offshore substation and a 2GW DC offshore converter station. For each platform project, the Platform Contractor will develop this basic design into a detailed design compliant with DNV GL standard DNVGL-ST-0145. With this Tender, TenneT aims to award a Framework Agreement to a contractor to act as the Certifying Authority for future 700MW AC and 2GW DC offshore high voltage converter stations in the Dutch Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ), as well as award a Framework Agreement for a back-up contractor for the same scope.Under such Framework Agremeent, the Certifying Authority will review the design and execution of the work of the Platform Contractor to ensure compliance with DNVGL-ST-0145, and certify the platform according service specification DNVGL-SE-00073/DNVGL-SE-00190.
