Description: The municipality of The Hague has the legal task (Article 5: 8, paragraph 3 of the Dutch Civil Code) to transport found lodging animals (animals with a suspected owner) and to preserve and provide for a minimum of two weeks. The municipality is also responsible for removing dead (companionship) animals from the public road. Municipalities are free to complete this task to your own insight. The municipality of The Hague wishes to be able to contract the following specific tasks and therefore wishes to enter into an agreement with a maximum of two contractors for an initial term of two (2) years, with unilateral options to extend two (2) times one to the client (1 year.
