  • Description:
  • Please note that this is not a call for tenders but a publication announcing the Contracting authority-s intention to publish a future negotiated low or middle valueprocedure. The cycler will be used to expand the laboratory's testing capabilities and adapt it to new market trends and progress in the field of battery storage. In particular, this system will cover performance and durability tests at single cell level for large cells. Large cells are being continuously more and more adopted by the market while the size (in terms of storage capacity) may reach even 500 - 1 000 Ah in case of cells for stationary systems, and is expected still to grow in the future. Testing such cells require using high currents (several hundreds of Amps) at low voltage. Fulfilling those parameters at the same time is out of the range for systems currently employed in BESTEST lab, and thus the new investment is needed.
