• The municipality's real estate organization is responsible for the automatic reporting of fire alarms and malfunctions for a portfolio of approximately 90 buildings (social real estate). This is done in accordance with the strict requirements of the Building Environment Decree (Bbl). This system forms a vital link in the safety chain. In the event of an incident, an immediate alarm is sent to both the Regional Emergency Center (RAC/Fire Department) and the Private Emergency Center (PAC). An important principle here is uniformity in quality: we apply the same strictness to reporting to the PAC requirements and reliability standards as well as for reporting to the RAC. This saves valuable time, which is essential for protecting human lives and preventing escalation. To guarantee this 24/7 security, reporting units (DMEs) are used, which are located in every building. are integrated with the local installations, and each DME is also linked to the correct contact persons: the user, technical manager, etc. Management not only includes the (technical) infrastructure, but also intensive proactive maintenance. The reliability of the system becomes continuously monitored: the connection is tested every 1.5 hours to ensure operational continuity at all times.
