- Rijkswaterstaat uses a number of specific independent external experts in the field of land acquisition valuation and compensation for disadvantages. These are respectively the Land Acquisition department of the Major Projects and Maintenance section (GPO) and three legal departments (BJV) of thepart of Corporate Service (CD). The independent experts are engaged by the aforementioned parts of Rijkswaterstaat for advice on compensation and/or damages, in particular in the acquisition of immovable property and compensation for damage and planning damage cases.
