- When a fighting animal disease is found on a poultry farm, the government may decide to clear the animals present and the destruction of products and of non -peasable objects. The affected (poultry) holder receives an allowance for the damage for the taken over animals, products and/or objects. The value must be determined by an appraiser. To determine the value, the appraiser takes the market value of the animals and products taken over as a starting point for his valuation. The replacement value is used for the taken objects. The appraiser uses his knowledge and expertise for this and is supported with current value tables in his appraisal work. If there is no value table available, the appraiser is expected to be able to perform customization to the measuring rules.
