Description:
The public lighting area of The Hague contains around 80,000 light points spread throughout the city. The Stedelijk Beheer - Public Lighting & Charging Infra of the municipality of The Hague (the client) is responsible for the management and maintenance of the public lighting.
The municipalityHaag wants to role energy-efficient LED lighting in the city in the coming years. A financial boost has been made available by the city council in The Hague (RIS 309080 "Energy -efficient street lighting"). Until the end of 2027, the municipality expects to (have) approximately 20,000 conventional luminairesReplaced with energy-efficient LED luminaires.
In 2023, the municipality concluded an agreement with two luminaires suppliers for the development, production and supply of a luminaire family according to a form concept from the client, the so -called "residence fixtures". The residenceLuminaires have since been taken into production and can be applied within the lighting area of the municipality of The Hague.
This assignment relates to the planned installation of the residence fixtures to replace the conventional luminaires currently applied in thecity. In addition, around 5,000 lighting towers are simultaneously replaced from preventive maintenance or reaching the end of the technical lifespan.
