Description: The assignment concerns the engineering and delivery of an interlocking for the Rail terminal Gelderland (RTG). A separate tendering procedure is published for the concession for the construction and exploitation of the RTG. The rail terminal is connected to the Betuwe Route. The terminal will be driven directly from the BetuweRoute, the so -called sailing coming in. To make this possible, a local train protection and train management system must be built, which is connected to the systems on the Betuwe Route and the cranes on the RTG. The heart of the system forms the Interlocking, a train protection computer that ensures that the trains can be safely settled on the tracks of the RTG. The province of Gelderland will purchase the -IVPI of Alstom. Alstom has delivered the train protection on the Betuweroute on behalf of ProRail and is also responsible for the maintenance thereof. Alstom is the only party that has a interface approved by ProRail, which makes a connection to the security system on the Betuwe Route possible.
