Description:
NS is looking for a supplier who can supply air suspension bellows for a pneumatic secondary suspension system for the NS train type VIRM. This concerns 2100 bellows over a period of 6 years.
In accordance with NS policy, we conclude the Registration with a Framework Agreement with 2 different suppliersanciers, both the winner of the Entry and the number two. With the explicit addition that only the winner of the Tender will supply 100% of the air suspension bellows. The runner-up will only be asked to supply air suspension bellows if the winner is unable or unwilling to supply them or does not perform wellDuring the term of the Agreement.
The air suspension bellows must undergo some tests after the intention to award the contract. These tests will be paid for by the NS in the first round with a maximum of 50,000 euros. If the test fails and a new design is needed, and with it aIf a second round of testing is required, the costs will be borne by the supplier.
