Description:
The Jaap Edenbaan skating complex is so dated that replacement and renovation is necessary. To limit the impact on business operations and to always guarantee ice, a phased implementation is necessary.
Phase 1 concerns the replacement of the 400m track and the relocationof the doodle track and a new technology building. In order to continue to guarantee the operation of the 400m track, the replacement of the 400m track and the relocation of the crab track have already been carried out in the summer period of 2023. From March 2024, at the end of the skating season, the technThe equipment will be moved from the existing technology room to the new building and connected to the 400m track.
Phase 2 concerns tackling the buildings. The ice rink is exhausted, has an energetic leak and needs to be replaced. The existing buildings such as the office building and the catering building serve a grand purposecompletely renovated, gas-free and made more sustainable. This planning will also be carried out in phases.
The Client wishes to conclude a Construction Team Agreement with the Construction Team Partner. If the Construction Team phase leads to the desired result for the municipality of Amsterdam, the Construction Team partner will be selectedconcluded a Construction Agreement. A draft of this agreement is attached as Appendix 12.
