Description:
With this tender, the contracting authority intends to contract a consultancy firm that will provide consultancy and engineering services for this project in the exploration phase, whereby the following objectives must be achieved in order to complete the exploration phase:
- Established Preferred Alternativetive (VKA).
- Established Note Scope of Detail Level.
- Completed Environmental Impact Report.
- Achieving the largest possible support base.
The Hansweert dike reinforcement project - Nuclear Power Plant (24S-2) is located on the north side of the Western Scheldt and on the south side of the western part of thein South Beveland. The project includes all parts of standard section 30-3 that need to be strengthened based on the tightening of the safety analysis. Standard section 30-3 has a length of 27.55 km and is enclosed between standard sections 30-2 on the east side and 30-4 on the west side.
ComparedWith the connecting stretches, 30-3 has a relatively low water safety standard. The lower limit value for water safety is set in the Water Act at a probability of flooding of 1:1,000 per year. This lower limit is a fact for 30-2 (where Hansweert dike reinforcement is currently being carried out).or 100 higher and for 30-4 (where the Borssele nuclear power plant is behind) itself a factor 1000 higher.
