- The municipality of Westerkwartier uses a European public tender to arrive at one agreement for the joint implementation of default guidance and additional services (see Chapter 2.2.). The employees (teams) of the municipality of Westerkwartier are (for the time being) spread over, among others, the existing locations in Grootegast, Marum and Zuidhorn. Zuidhorn is the new main location with the services to the residents. In addition, there are the locations of the Social Development Company Novatec with the central office/workplace Tolbert. In the course of 2025, the Social Development Company Novatec moved to a new building in Leek (Leeksterveld business park).
