- With this neighborhood renewal, the municipality of Leiden wants to realize a sustainable, future-oriented and redesigned Professorenwijk-Oost. This concerns phase 2 of the Professorenwijk East. The goal is a climate-proof and biodiverse redesigned neighbourhood.
The work broadly comprises:
- replacing van approx. 3200 meters of sewage system including groundwater regulating drainage (1600 m trench)
- redesigning 20,000 m2 of public space
- planting approx. 50 trees
- greening of the public space
The work will be carried out on the basis of the RAW standard 2020 and the UAV 2012, together met een bestek.
