- The municipality of Leiderdorp has the ambition to make the fleet more sustainable. The municipality of Leiderdorp has a fleet of approximately 23 units (see appendix). With this fleet, the municipality of Leiderdorp performs various tasks in the public space, including the collection of household residual waste and old paper and cardboard. In the context of this sustainability, two electric garbage cars of the type of side loader have recently been ordered. In addition, an electric garbage car of the type of rear loader will also be purchased in the near future. The first electric garbage car will be delivered in Q3 of 2025. It is expected that the collection of household waste and old paper and cardboard will be fully electrically carried out at the beginning of 2026
