- At the Defense location Fort Harssens 09D04 there is a marina between Steiger 1 and 2, this marina was constructed in 1998 and has the main users the KMJC, the port service of the CZSK and the KNRM. The current floating infrastructure between Steiger 1 and 2 was dated in 1998 and the technical lifespan has elapsed. In recent years, the costs for (regular) maintenance on the (wooden) scaffolding and (steel) tubular piles have risen significantly. Partly because of this, cost -efficient management is no longer possible. In addition, the electrical and mechanical installations on the scaffolding no longer meet current standards. Defense decided at the end of 2022 to replace the floating infrastructure and to realize the Central Government Real Estate Agency.
