- The scope of this assignment mainly includes road-wide major maintenance of roads and structures on the national highways in the Northern Netherlands. This concerns maintenance of pavements or replacement of pavements, vehicle barriers, structures and work on guide structures. The objective of it major maintenance is to fulfill the functions (sustainably). A number of noise barriers from the Multi-Year Noise Program (MJPG) must also be realized in the Friesland plot. Within this program, noise issues are addressed in homes built before July 1, 1987 where noise pollution from national highways exceeds the legal remediation threshold.
