- The scope of the basic maintenance contract is limited to guaranteeing the nautical function of the fixed waterway markings and the related maintenance work. That is, solving malfunctions on nautical lighting and repairing small damage (corrective maintenance). In addition, performing preventive maintenance of more complex nautical installations, including the execution of safety inspections (for a small part of the area: the so -called specials). The contractors of the basic maintenance contract visit management objects only in the event of malfunction or damage, or when preventive maintenance and inspections must be carried out.
