In July 2020 the cabinetto move the Marine Corps from the Marine Corps barracks in Doorn to Kamp Nieuw-Milligen in the municipality of Apeldoorn.
The aim of the project is to realize a new Marine barracks for the operational units of the Marine Corps.
The project will mediums a DBFMO agreement will be put out to tender.
This DBFMO agreement mainly comprises the design, construction, provision of facility services, provision of resources, provision of facilities, maintenance and financing of the barracks. The barracks will be built on top of the existing Kamp Nieuw barracks-Milligen with the address Meervelderweg 19 in Uddel, municipality of Apeldoorn.
